An unusual set of 10 Jacobean style oak chairs, 2 carvers and 8 chairs. Made in the 19th century by the finest cabinet makers,with scrolled crestings over similar central panels between turned posts, the seat raised on 'horsebone' front legs with C-scrolls in the front rail. The carving and detail is of the highest quality and the original fabric still remains.

A high quality Victorian mahogany, deep buttoned open armchair recently restored and upholstered in hand dyed leather. Fantastic swirled mahogany arms and foliate carved cabriole legs down to scrolled feet with brass castors and studs.

A set of late Victorian/Early Edwardian mahogany Chippendale style dinning chairs made in the Rococo style with heavy carving to the top rail, central pierced splats, arm fronts, upper edge to seat rails, with gadrooning to the lower edge of the seat rails. This carving continues on the cabriole legs which finish with ball and claw feet. 2 carvers and 10 chairs, they are a fabulous set.
